Debbie Logel Butler has spent a majority of her career in the healthcare sector. As a Fundraising and Communications professional Debbie knows the importance of volunteering in the community in which you live and work.
She has volunteered as an award judge for the Association of Fundraising Professionals annual National Philanthropy Day as well as a past member of Mohawk College Alumni of Distinction selection committee. For the past four years, Debbie has been a student interviewer for McMaster University Medical School (MMI program).
Debbie is a graduate of McMaster University and Mohawk College. She has a B.A. in Sociology, a Public Relations Certificate from Ryerson University and was honoured in 2013 as an Alumni of Distinction by Mohawk College.
Accessible healthcare for all is a primary interest of Debbie's and in 2016 she joined North Hamilton Community Health Centre as a member of the Community Relations committee. Debbie is looking forward to increasing her involvement as a member of the Board of Directors.
